Do grade matter??

I have been following a blogs called "Lyn lakorn" for many years already~~
I'm totally agree with her way of speaking, thought and opinions about graduation.
Hope this will help my friends and I as well.
Congratulation on graduating Pancake ( thai actress) ~~~
It’s hard to balance work and school and especially as a celebrity...
I am waiting for my day to come as well..
Few photos of her :)

This is what Lyn said:

"When someone is making millions of baht per year from filming lakorns and advertisements, graduating with a 2.23 GPA, does it matter? Thai netizens don’t seem to think so. Good grades does not necessarily lead to big earnings after graduation.

Pancake has graduated from Kasetsart University with a degree in English. It took her five years. People are happy she graduated, heck it’s a miracle considering her crazy schedule, but her grade isn’t great. If one is already successful does it matter what grade they earned? She will continue to be an actress, continue to make money off of being a brand ambassador to dozens of products, she owns a business, her family is pretty well off. Does it matter that her GPA is low? It’s not a predictor of her success.

Opinions from Thai netizens:

“GPA is not the answer, it depends on if you can get the job and do the job well after graduating. I met those people, graduated with honors but couldn’t do the job well.”

“To the person who posted her grade, what are you doing this for? Some people who graduated with good grades don’t even have a job.”

“Grades and work is not the same thing, I have a friend who graduated with 3.5 GPA, she/he doesn’t make a lot, I graduated under a 3.0 GPA, I make 35,000 baht per month, just think about it.”

“Grades are not important, it depends if after graduation, you land a job. And if you success in your job. There is a lot of people with good grades who can’t do anything.” "

Finally, Pancake doesn’t need a high GPA since she’s already so successful, more successful than many other actresses in Thailand. Congrats, and keep up the good work!!!!

Thank you Lyn for making my day so beautiful !!!

My turn to say something
There is nothing if you are really graduated. The most important thing is what we have learnt to be and how we pursue our dream!!!!
Lecturers let us gain their knowledge but they DO NOT teach us how to be success in life~~~
So think about it seriously!!!
What you want to be after 10 years or maybe 20 years from now
I have my dreams and I hope I can make it within this 5 years after I graduated!!!!!
